When my client was away during home renovations, she left me with one clear request: “No white walls except for the bathroom. Give me colours from nature — something a bit different too.”

When it came time to update their outdated 80s kitchen, she called me to guide her through the process.

 

Starting Point

The benchtop was already chosen, so that became our anchor. From there, I sketched a layout for the kitchen company and helped select cabinetry, finishes, backsplash, sink, and appliances to achieve a clean, no‑fuss look.

 

Beyond the Kitchen

 

We also shopped together — both in person and online — for dining furniture, lounge pieces, lighting, and kitchen stools. Each choice reinforced her vision of a home filled with natural tones and effortless style.

 

The Result

 

The end result was a dream kitchen that perfectly completed their open‑plan concept. It created a warm, welcoming space they love to live in and share with family and friends.
